Tim is an entrepreneur, software developer, and speaker who’s based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Tim created staffroom - the unified school management system, and is the Lead Developer at Umoya Software.
A UCT graduate, Tim specialised in Computer Science and Psychology, and has a particular interest in building systems which are intuitive and easy to use. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and education and has spoken about this at various conferences and schools across the country.
He is the founder of EdTechConf - a grassroots conference to bring passionate ICT educators together.

MTN SMS Gateway goes down
Hey so it seems MTN’s SMS gateway is currently down but everything else seems to be up still. I can’t remember when last that happened. Quite bad really – loss of revenue aside. Anyone else feel this?
