This happened for no reason I can think of (other than possibly applying Windows Updates) to my Win7 Enterprise x64 SP1 desktop this week; I couldn&#039;t get passwords to work with the server with anything but Remote Desktop.  After trying multiple other methods, your fix did the trick.

		<description>The most common reason for security related problems linking up to my Windows Home Server is the DATE being incorrect. It happens about one time a year that my home server reboots with incorrect date. I suspect this is used in some certificates and thus fails. The solution is to RDP into th server and correct date and time.</description>
