Tim is an entrepreneur, software developer, and speaker from Cape Town, South Africa.

Tim created the staffroom unified school management system, and is the Lead Developer at Umoya Software. His team have written software for various companies and Government departments in South Africa. Their uniti software was used by Disaster Management to manage their role in the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

A UCT graduate, Tim specialised in Computer Science and Psychology, and has a particular interest in building systems which are intuitive and easy to use. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and education and has spoken about this at various conferences and schools across the country.

He’s also a fanatical Mac head, avid photographer, and all-round nice guy.

He lives in Cape Town with his beautiful wife, Amy.
